About the event

While some people might understand NVC as a communication method, it’s way more than that: it’s a process that leads to connection - with yourself and others. And in the process of connection there’s so much to explore and discover, especially when you find the preciousness that lies inside you, underneath all the habits and conditioned thinking and behavior you are familiar with.

In this workshop we’d like to connect you with your inner-most depth to enable you to live from there. With practice in self connection and compassion you no longer need to focus on how to ‘apply’ NVC, the spirit is just extending itself from you to others.

You will be learning how to hold yourself with the greatest love possible and how to embrace the not so liked parts of yourself. You might notice how your view of life and others changes in the unfolding of this experience.

We look forward to you joining us for an immersion into the gift and beauty of NVC. :-)

The program will start on both days at  10.00am and finish at 5.00pm..

This program will be facilitated by myself, Alistair McKinnon (Byron Bay) and Tina Schmitt (from Germany), both Certified Trainers with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) the governing body in America.  We met in Bali in 2018 as support trainers for the IIT there.

When two people come from different sides of the planet and connect at the level of presence, something happens and connection is formed. This was our experience. A sense of peace and comfort came in leaning into the safety of connection and the familiarity of a shared language of needs through NVC. And we both connected with a sense of adventure about the possibility that we might one day co-facilitate an NVC training together. And here we are. :-)

Here is Tina's introduction of herself:

"I am living in Germany and offer workshops, coaching and mediation everywhere where my heart feels joy to do so. It’s been the dream of my life to know how to live my deepest honesty while at the same time stay lovingly connected with others. Nonviolent Communication has taught me how to live that dream. I met Marshall Rosenberg in 2003 and am grateful I could learn from him for several years. My focus has become the practice of self-compassion because this is where I connect to my inner peace and at the same time I experience it as the most natural source of compassion for others. I love ‚dancing‘ with others to explore the many layers of aliveness that unfold when we live in the spirit of NVC together."

Register now for the opportunity to be trained by 2 people who have a combined 22 years of experience with sharing NVC.
